PET 24-7 GLOBAL

Our story

Built by vets who've seen what happens when help can't be reached

Pet 24-7 exists to reduce animal suffering by doing one thing: making trusted veterinary guidance reachable — for everyone, everywhere, at any hour.

It started with access

Our founder, Dr Luke Gamble, has spent nearly three decades as a veterinary surgeon — and many of those years leading international animal welfare programmes through Worldwide Veterinary Service and Mission Rabies, working in places where a vet might be a day's travel away.

That work taught us something uncomfortable: the greatest barrier to animal welfare isn't a lack of knowledge or compassion. It's access. Every day, owners struggle to know whether their pet needs urgent care or simple reassurance. Veterinary teams are overwhelmed. And across much of the world, advice simply isn't available at all.

Technology is the tool. The mission comes first.

We don't believe technology should replace veterinarians — we believe it should make them more effective, and make their expertise reachable at the moment it's needed. Every feature we build must pass one test: does it strengthen the relationship between you and your veterinary team? If not, we don't build it.

That's why our AI educates rather than diagnoses. It's why real red flags escalate to real, qualified vets. And it's why linking your own clinic is at the heart of the app — your vet knows your pet, and we keep it that way.

A record that belongs to you

We also believe your pet's health record should belong to you — not be locked away in one clinic's system. A lifelong record that follows your pet across clinics, cities, countries and insurers means better decisions, safer emergencies and no more starting from zero.

One mission, local teams

Pet 24-7 Global is built by veterinary surgeons, engineers and operators across the UK, India and beyond — with our own veterinary teams on the ground in the countries we serve. Local vets, local clinics, local knowledge: that's how care that works at 2am actually gets built.

Care with a conscience

Pet 24-7 grew out of the animal welfare world, and we've never left it. Through our connection with Worldwide Veterinary Service, we support veterinary education, capacity building and welfare initiatives globally. When you subscribe, you're helping animals far beyond your own home.
